When Pregnant: 3 Weeks Along-ish

How is it even when you’ve been “trying” to get pregnant, that you are so surprised and shocked when the preggo test says “hell yeah you’re knocked up?”

It’s a mystery.

But that’s pretty much exactly the scene over here today. It’s Saturday, football Saturday. I knew I was about 2 days late for my period which is odd for me,  so I decided to let things play out and not “force it” just because I wanted the instant gratification of knowing if I was pregnant NOW.

About 4 hours later, my will crumbled and I decided to bust out the preggo test. The “Yes Pregnant” sign that emerged after 2 minutes sent me in to a tailspin.  Steveo said “no wayyyy…. You should take another one in a couple hours.”

And hence the somewhat anti-climatic reveal was made complete.  We decided not to tell our family for a few days- and then reconsidered and told them hours later. So much for resolve.
