About Us

Sarah Blight is a wife and mom to a very busy 2- year old son. Having been a military spouse for 8 years, Sarah has an immense appreciation for the Armed Forces and especially their significant others. She also loves to declutter and is on the path to considering herself a “minimalist mama”. After moving 15 times in 30 plus years, who really wants to move around a bunch of stuff? When Sarah isn’t researching the latest and greatest in baby gear, or talking to other moms about “booty”, you’ll most likely find her enjoying college football, enjoying outdoor activities or blogging about motherhood. Sarah resides in Lowell, Michigan.

Katie Kezele is a newlywed. Well, if you consider 2 years of marriage a “newlywed.” She is a wonderful mama to her 1.5 year old 90 pound golden doodle. When she’s not doodling, she is a pilates enthusiast and enjoys rock climbing and running. That would put her in the baby gear category of “active mama”, when she becomes one. She looks forward to that one day soon, especially with all the cool stuff that comes with baby! Katie resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.

About the Booty

Your Baby Booty was conceived (heehee) while answering an email from a friend who was pregnant and needed advice about baby gear. Sarah realized that so many parents-to-be (okay, let’s be honest, mostly “mamas”) were overwhelmed by the baby registry process and all the stuff that is needed (or is it?) after “the stork” delivers the baby. Sarah was one such person. She wanted nothing to do with the baby registry process. Don’t believe it? There’s proof. Read this. After suggesting her “favorites” to all her friends and friends’ friends who were pregnant, Sarah decided to create a fun, easy, stress free place where you find out exactly what baby gear you need for the babe. Then she asked her sweet sister and best friend, Katie to join her on this journey. We want you to sit back, relax, prop  up your swollen feet, eat some ice cream and revel in the bliss of pregnancy (and eating whatever you want), instead of stressing about pacifiers and mattress pads. Your Baby Booty is partnering with African Mothers’ Health Initiative through volunteering and financial support. AMHI and its daughter organization, Chimwemwe Mu’bereki (CU) are a wonderful non-profit organization in Malawi who support orphaned and vulnerable infants and the families left to care for them.
